We are all called to be FAITHFUL and GRACEFUL

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
-Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

This Month's thought was inspired from an Upper Room Devotional. We can't be God. We can't control God. We should'nt seek to control, judge, or manipulate each other. God in his wisdom has made each of us with unique qualities, talents, and gifts. When we practice the theology of what I like to call holierthanthouism we hurt, break, and weaken the fabric of the Church universal.

When we practice the theology of "judgementalism" we fail to invite in those who need to be a part of a church family. We block people who need to be in the Lord's house the most. Arrogance and judgemental behaviors have the potential to hurt FOREVER.

This church, and the church universal belong to Christ Jesus. Everything we do and say SHOULD BE for the betterment of HIS kingdom. Any action, spoken, written or otherwise must be filtered against prayer, and most importantly from lessons learned from the teachings of Christ.

Would'nt the world be a better place if we treated each other as if Christ was standing right beside us? (Remember he really is!) Would not the world be a better place if we looked truthfully inside of our hearts and could forgive ourselves and others? Would not the world be a better place if we stopped jumping to conclusions but instead prayerfully medidated our source of concern or problem? Would the world not be a better place if we could stop acting as if we were the only ones with God's will burned in our heart while making everyone around us feel less than in the kindgom? Would not the world be a better place if we stopped slinging acusations toward each other and paused to remember that the dirt at the foot of the cross is flat and we are ALL convicted?

Prayer
God, may we always be faithful to your call, even when circumstances seem overwhelming. Amen.
